Add-ons and ticket questions

Sell the whole trip, not just the ticket

Add-ons let attendees book what goes with their ticket: a meal plan, a seat on the shuttle, a workshop place, an upgrade. Ticket questions collect what you need to know about each person, and the answers flow through to badges, check-in and reports.

Available on Gold and Platinum

How it works

  1. 01

    Set up your add-ons

Give each one a price (or make it free), a stock limit and the booking types it's available to.

  2. 02

    Let people add them later

Attendees can add extras after they've booked, so you keep selling as plans firm up.

  3. 03

    Ask the right questions

Ask questions for the whole event, for one booking type, or only when someone chooses a particular add-on.

  4. 04

    Use the answers

Print answers on badges, show them at the check-in desk, and export them for caterers, drivers and activity leads.

Three kinds of add-on

  • Transport

Shuttles and buses with their own seat limits, like a coach from the city on Friday afternoon or a last run home at 3am.

  • Upgrades

Meal plans, better rooms, VIP access or sponsor perks added to a ticket.

  • Activities

Workshops, tours and sessions with limited places that attendees book alongside their ticket.

Questions that do something

Ticket questions can be asked once per event, once per booking type, or only when an attendee chooses a particular add-on, so nobody answers questions that don’t apply to them.

Ranking questions let people put options in order of preference, which is useful for workshop places or activity streams. Answers can be printed on badges (pronouns are a common one), shown to staff at check-in, and exported with the rest of your attendee data.
