For a small event, all you need is a phone or tablet with a browser. For a big one, EventDrake runs on proper hardware: check-in desks, badge printers, payment terminals and a live status board on the wall. It's the same system either way.

Check-in desks
Scan a ticket or search by name, check the details, print the badge and hand over merch in one flow. Station profiles set what each desk does.
Operations desks
Look up any attendee, sort out problems and take payments at a help desk.
Point of sale
Sell merch and extras on site with registers, floats and receipt printing, on Gold and Platinum.
Status board
Put queue length and throughput for every station on a TV, so you can move staff to where the line is.
Temporary sessions
Volunteers sign in to a desk with a temporary session and an approval code, without needing a full account.
Queues
Send attendees to the right line by ticket type or rule, and show them their queue before they arrive.

Start small, add hardware when you need it
